The Hemporium is now also the new home for The Hunter Hemp Co who in the last 6 years have established two Hemp farms in the Pt Stephans region. Many of the products we sell at The Hemporium Wellness Centre & Cafe are grown and made on our own farms.

Meet Our Founder

Karen is an integral player in the Australian Hemp Industry.

She has fought tirelessly for the rights of all Australians to have access to Medical Cannabis, and has provided greatly needed support to our community through the Ubuntu Wellness Clinic.

 

Through her service, Karen has become increasingly passionate about the power of hemp to transform the health of both people and planet. It is her life's work to share the potential of this amazing plant and this latest venture is the culmination of her many years of service to this plant and her community.

She believes that working together will help us achieve our visison and goal to set up the infrastructure in Newcastle and the Hunter Valley to grow and process hemp, while at the same time creating jobs and opportunities to become resilient and fully sustainable in our region aganst rising global insecurity.
